BACK IN DA DAYS . . .

Me and my dad..

Rockin the orange bell bottoms at age 5.

7yrs old roller skating . . .

Yanicke at 8 years old with Mummy...
Life was so simple then, no bills, no responsibility, playing freeze tag, sardines, and the summers spent with my bestfriends. The picture above is when I five years old in Jamaica and I was on my way to a hat race at my school "Immaculate." Yes, I made that ridiculous hat! I must say that was pretty good for a five year old. Can you believe I went to an all girl Catholic school. What was my father thinking? Also above a picture of me and friends... I was rockin' the orange bell bottoms... Guh deh gyal!!!!

A picture of me and Meems. Man, that is when I was seventeen years old and I think MeMe you were twenty years old. Those were the good ol' days, weren't they? Remember working at the Sheraton Royal Key Biscayne as cocktail waitresses? Parties at PBA and Ventanas? Those PBA parties were wicked! They were the best ones back then. I know you are going to hate me for putting that picture up but I was in a reminiscing mood:) Oh, also remember our oshi discussions at work? No worries know one will know what I am talking about since I said it in Chinese:)

Me and Nicky in Jamaica on the way to Ochie for Independence weekend.. I think I was 18 years old and so were you Nicks. The sweet thing is, in Jamaica there is no drinking age, so the youth of Jamaica are seasoned veterans by the time we are twenty one. Another interesting point we have a very low drinking and driving DUI rate... Hmmm, do you think we were just use to it? Nicks, I have to give you major credit. You are the best female driver I know. My girl can go around little corners on a mountain 5 am in the morning fully juiced. You are a don! I miss you Nicks!!! I will have to call you DR. Gibson soon... Wow, it was just yesterday we were playing red light green light outside in your yard.

A bunch of drunken fools at Ligunea Club in Jamaica. I think we got kicked out of the ol' local country club... Didn't we? That night is very hazy to me. Nicks and Mich maybe you guys can recall.. That night was a fun night, which consist of thumpers, quarters, and what other drinking games were played? I think we were just making up games after that. Nicks, poor Uncle Jim... I think we ran up his bill nuff, don't? I think Laura was the only sober one.

Lawd, Nicky yu goin' kill me fa dis ya pikcha..
This night was classic. Independence 1992, weekend in Ochie. I think it was about 10 of us in one room. Remember being so juiced and eating sardines right from the can... YUCK! and jumping into the ocean 3am in the morning? Oh, and Mickey f*ckin' mouse. That is an inside joke. Tammy, I know you remember that one... Ha!

That was a little peak into my past. Us girls grew up together and our mother's were good friends before we came into this world and the friendship escalated from one generation and continuing onto another. Some of us have been friends from birth and some later on in life. I want you all to know you are my life and my family. We all had so much laughter, so much pain, and so many accomplishments. We all found love, careers, and motherhood. We have held each other's hands through out our life changing experiences that we all endured. I am so happy to have my bestfriends here by my side and not a day has passed between us. I love you all and maybe pregnancy has brought on this sentimental "BS" but oh well it had to be said at some point. We are all living in different parts of the world but we all manage to see each other at least once a year. Let us keep that tradition up. Now that the weddings are over (It is kind of sad that the weddings have come to an end) we can all focus on taking vacations together with our families and starting a new chapter.

I love my sistrens for life... I am very proud of each and every one of you.
Nuff luv and blessings!!!! One Love...
